To celebrate the Health Foundation for Western and Central New York’s 10-year anniversary, we are pleased to share with you “Our First 10 Years 2002-2012.”
In this report, we take a look back at where we have been as a Foundation, what we have accomplished together with the people and communities we serve and look forward to what is on the horizon.
Throughout the publication, we focus on the growth and development of the Foundation's three focus areas: Frail Elders, Children Living in Poverty and Building Community Health Capacity and highlight several of our key programs and initiatives from each.
We’ll also introduce you to some of the individuals and organizations that are making a difference in the lives of those that are most vulnerable.
You can hear more about their experiences in a video featured online here.
Moving forward into the future, our commitment to the communities we serve is as strong as ever. We’ll continue to work closely with community partners that share our vision to develop, implement and support innovative programs and initiatives that improve the health and health care of the people of western and central New York.
As we celebrate the past 10 years and look ahead to the next 10, we encourage you to explore our website to learn more about our work, new funding opportunities, grants and keep up with the latest Foundation news and events.
